I am passionate about designing dynamic, meaningful spaces that enrich the lives of their users. After earning my Master’s in Architecture from the University of Michigan, I joined HBM Architects, a leading national firm specializing in library design. There, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to numerous library projects, deepening my appreciation for public libraries as vital “third places” that serve as inclusive, community-centered spaces. Designing these environments has been immensely fulfilling, as each project allows me to weave together local context, community voices, and stakeholder priorities to create libraries that not only provide essential programs and resources but also foster a deep sense of belonging and pride.

When I’m not designing architecture, I’m likely traveling across the Midwest and East Coast for sailing regattas, reading on my porch, or exploring Cleveland’s vibrant food scene. Whenever possible, I seek adventure far beyond home—foreign travel has exposed me to rich cultural experiences and architectural influences that continue to shape my perspective. I firmly believe that great design isn’t born from an overworked mind confined to a desk; in order to contribute successfully to the built environment, you have to get out and experience it.
